About

Brandon Afari is the co-founder and CEO of chargeFUZE, the portable-charger rental network he started with co-founder Ryan Levy in March 2018. The company builds and operates charging stations where people are already spending time: stadiums, festivals, malls, restaurants and venues. Users scan a QR code, take a charger, and drop it back at any station in the network.

Under his leadership the business has grown from a single-market idea into a nationwide operator present in 40 states and 10 countries. In 2024 Live Nation partnered with the company to place chargeFUZE stations at concerts and festivals, and took an equity stake alongside the agreement. Westfield, Simon Malls and ASM Global run stations across their properties.

He came to the business from finance rather than hardware. Afari is a CPA who studied at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business before completing a master's in taxation, spent the early part of his career at Deloitte, and served as COO and partner at National Packaging Products. That operating and financial background shapes how chargeFUZE is run: as a network business measured on unit economics and partner retention.
